Diogo Jota: “I Call Him the Ghost,” says Curtis Jones

After returning from injury, Diogo Jota didn’t take long to regain his excellent form. He scored twice in Liverpool’s 4-0 victory over Bournemouth on Sunday to demonstrate this. With Liverpool leading the table by five points, he is by no means the only Reds player who is playing at his best right now. On the other hand, teammate Curtis Jones gave him a new moniker.

“I’ve come to refer to [Jota] as ‘the ghost,’ as he’s one of those players who appears uninvolved in the game until he picks up the ball and makes it into a goal,” he said on the official website.

“I’ve come to refer to [Jota] as ‘the ghost,’ as he’s one of those players who appears uninvolved in the game until he picks up the ball and makes it into a goal,” he said on the official website.

From my Academy days through the U21s and finally the [senior] team, I’ve been around a lot of elite strikers, and he’s right up there. It’s very easy for a striker to stop playing when things aren’t going their way, but Jots is constantly involved in the action.

Alright, let’s start with the jots. Jones says that twice, so I had to double-check to make sure it wasn’t a typo.

“The ball will bounce around the box and it’s a Jota goal, and you think, ‘Only Jots could do that,’ even when, say, his touch is a little loose and it’s not going right,” he went on.

Remember that as the new nickname to go by instead of “the ghost.” It’s pronounced, I believe, “Jotes,” and I adore it. brightened my evening. All I need is for someone to let me know.

Jota is talented in football, though. This season, the Reds have scored plenty of goals, and Jota has contributed to four of them in addition to scoring eleven.

It’s fantastic to have him on the team. He always runs, which is a great help, and when his confidence is this high, He will undoubtedly score goals in each and every game.

He’s quickly solidifying his place in Jürgen Klopp’s starting lineup. When Jota scored a late goal against Burnley to propel them to the top table on Boxing Day, he signaled his return to fitness. Liverpool is still in the running for all four of the potential trophies this year; however, in order to increase their chances of winning any of them, the team must maintain the high caliber of play that Jota has demonstrated thus far.
